The August series is "The Soul's Code: Calling, Course, Choice, and Character." Many ideas will be drawn from the book by that title by the late James Hillman, a Jungian philosopher and prolific author whose birth centennial is being commemorated. Hillman believed we come into this world with a set of deep-level choices intact, that draw us toward our affinities and passions for creative expression. Clues are everywhere to these choices and the places they lead, such as the coincidences and synchronicities we learn to recognize and by which we chart our courses.
